This outfit really reminds me of a school uniform; in a stereotypical-but-it-would-never-actually-be-worn-for-school kind of way! I’m pretty sure it’s the combination of blazer, blouse, knee high socks and satchel that’s doing it!
I bought this shirt and skirt on a whim from Primark. I’ve been looking for a new sheer blouse for a while now but just haven’t found the right one. This one caught my eye because of the cute gold metal tips on the collar and the stud buttons. The skirt will be perfect for when the weather warms up a little (hello? spring? where are you?!) and will get more wear when picnics and beach trips are possible!

I don’t really transport my laptop around that much anymore. When I went to university, it came with me to and from the campus pretty much every day, but now it just lives on my desk or on the floor next to my sofa! However, I still use my cupcake laptop case to store it in, especially with a cheeky cat around who loves to lie on everything he is not allowed to lie on! I chose an image to put onto my laptop case that I took during a photo shoot at Uni of a pink blossom tree in a park. The colours in the image are quite vibrant, so I was dubious about how the colour would come out on the case.
When I received the case, I was honestly surprised at the quality of the print. The colours were amazing and the image quality was brilliant. The case has soft padding on the inside to protect your electronic and the zip seems pretty sturdy.
Now I’m just waiting for them to bring out a case for my Galaxy Note 2!

When I received an email from Barratts, I must admit, I was surprised. I had assumed that they had suffered from the recession like a lot of UK high street stores, and had closed quite a while back. Well, I was wrong – and after looking through their website, I realised that actually they had a lot of really nice shoes on offer. They have lots of brands I have never heard of before, so it was fun browsing through them all and discovering a few that I actually really loved! I was asked if I would like to try a pair of their shoes and style them – and of course I said yes! (Who is going to say no to a pair of shoes?!) I thought it would be great to do a His and Hers style post, so after asking them if it would be OK, myself and Glenn both picked out a pair of shoes and awaited their arrival. I thought he deserved to be featured in a post seeing as he is such a big part of Belle Fantaisie; after all if it wasn’t for him my photos would be wonky and out of focus because I would have to use self timer!

When I sat down to post this blog, I had no idea what to call it. It’s just an outfit I wore to go with Glenn to see some of our friends in Bath overnight, and I am wearing nothing new or special. However after staring at the page for a while I realised this whole outfit just reminded me of berries and biscuits, the colours are making me feel hungry!
