Aussie To The Rescue Party

Last night, I went along to a little get together in London held by the Aussie Haircare ladies at a very posh hotel. There were sandwiches and little quiches (much more “me” food than canapes!) and gorgeous cocktails served by a bar man! I was asked to bring along a few pieces from my wardrobe, including accessories and shoes. Once there all of the girls who attended hung there items on a rail, and sat down to have a good natter!

There were 3 parts to the night; hair, makeup and clothes. My first “appointment” was with the hair stylist. I had no idea what I wanted so I just said “do an up do that’s a bit more interesting than just a pony tail”. In the end I got a beehive with plaits on the side and a messy bun. It was crazy to see my hair like that but I liked it!

Next up was the makeup. Seeing as my hair had gone back to the sixties, it was hard not to think of liquid eyeliner and nude lips. So that’s what we went for!

Lastly, I had a style consultation, where I got some tips on what colours and shapes suit me. It was really interesting and lots of fun!

I had lots of fun and wish I could have stayed longer to have a bit more of a chat with everyone. Damn not living in London! Thanks again for the invite Aussie!

Your hair looked sooo good! Shame we didn’t have more time to talk, but hopefully we’ll get another chance!
