Blossom Journal

Myself and my boyfriend took a walk into town today so that I could find the station that I will be getting my coach from tomorrow morning – at 7am may I add! While we were there I picked up my iPhone with it’s new screen – I dropped it and it cracked – and also went into a few stationers to look at notepads/journals/sketchbooks.

When I have a fresh start at something, such as school, college, university or a project, I like to get new stationary. It started when I was a small child and you would get a new pencil case for each year of school! Now I love buying new pens, books and diaries. I love my Moleskine diary dearly; it helps keep me organised and I know where I should be and when – I’d be lost without it! So, when I was in need of a journal or sketchbook with plain paper, I looked straight to Moleskine. Unfortunately, money IS a factor, so I had to look for something a little cheaper.

If you have a WHSmith near you, you may have seen the Blossom stationary range they have in store. You can also find it online here. I love blossom prints on anything so when I saw this range I was sold. I picked out the Twin Journal Set, which consists of two journals, bound with silver string, each with 80 pages of 80gsm paper. The cover is flexible which I prefer for journals; they fit easier in a bag!

I’m excited to start working in one of them tonight!
