A Weekend in Wales

Last weekend, we enjoyed a few days in Wales with our friends Jake (Glenn’s best man) and his Fiancée Hannah. We ate lots of cheese and drank lots of wine and finished off with a 2 hour coastal walk that provided the most amazing views of the sea crashing into secret coves. Just lovely.

Tunisia

A few days ago, myself and Glenn returned from a very long awaited holiday to Tunisia. We booked it at the start of the year and I longed for uni to be finished so I could start getting excited about our week in the sun! We went for just one week, and stayed in an all inclusive hotel in Sousse. We had a balcony which looked over the pool and a private beach with white sands and clear seas. It was such a relaxing holiday with lots of food, sun and swimming! I took my phone with me and my Instax and Diana camera so I could take lots of pictures. Unfortunately, the film in the Diana camera got stuck and so I had to take it out half way through. It created some lovely light leaks, although some were a little too much, and I only got about 6 photos from the film. I managed to snap lots on my phone and Instax though, so here’s a peak. Just to warn you there are a lot of photos!

We flew out on an early flight from Bristol airport. We were up at half 2 in the morning, so we stopped off at Starbucks before our flight and once we were on the plane, we chilled out with some magazines and our music.

A shot of us while eating dinner at one of the outside restaurants by the second pool (which you can see the view off below) and the view from our balcony. It was so lovely to walk out onto it in the morning at 8am when it was already around 26ºc!

Chilling in and by the pool, where we spent most of our time! It had a bar inside the pool, s you had to swim over to get a drink!

On our third day, we went to a local zoo, where we were really lucky enough to feed an elephant, who was patiently waiting in the pool below! Glenn absolutely loves elephants so this was amazing for him and I loved seeing the elephants trunk up close, his nose was so cute!

As well as areas to eat outside, there was also an inside restaurant. These photos were from our last meal and the waiters put fresh pink flowers on your table for your last meal!

They had the most delicious desserts and because it was all inclusive, it was hard to resist!

Me in the pool overlayed with a shot of the trees from our sun loungers by the pool, jumping into the pool (because it was so hot the pool felt freezing so it really was the best way to get in!), us having dinner and me on the balcony!

Outside on the balcony wearing as little as possible! (It got to 34ºc over there!) The only shoes I could wear apart from my sandals because it was so hot! These came out in the evening!

There were lots of stray cats around the hotel grounds and there were a few kittens too! It was impossible to ignore there cute little faces and this black and white one was in his little spot everytime we went to the evening pool!

We enjoyed our week a lot and I would definitely recommend Sousse if you want a good tan and a relaxing holiday! Where are you going on holiday this year?

Haven Holiday – Devon Cliffs

Last week I was quiet on the blogging front and that was because myself and Glenn went on a weeks holiday to Devon! We had a lovely time with some beautiful sunshine and lots of swimming! We visited a farm attraction which had mini pigs and alpacas! Me and Glenn were both in our elements! Here are some pictures!

Beach Trips & Life

Life is so busy right now! I’m busy making my Zine for uni which is handed in next month alongside working 6 days a week. Fortunately on my one day off, I’ve been doing fun things! Here is a few pictures from the last few weeks.

Weston-Super-Mare & An Outfit

I’ve been home since Friday and today, for Mothers Day, we went to Weston-Super-Mare to have lunch, take a walk along the new pier and have an ice cream! We missed all the rain and just had lovely sunshine as we took a stroll with a fish & chip ice cream (two fish sweets: one head sticking out and one tail stick out the other side and 4 fudge sticks!). I’ve been playing with different vintage camera apps for my HTC Wildfire and I’ve finally found one I love. It’s called Vignette and it has so many different preset options for photos such as Toy Camera and Cigarette Filter. The best thing about it is you can take a picture and then change the effects so your not stuck with an effect you don’t like on an certain image! I love it! So here is a few pictures I’ve take since being home!
