Pinterest, Photography and Blog Love

Hello everyone! While I’m slaving away over a 30 page sketchbook, I thought I would do a quick post filled with a few different things really!

First up, is my new best friend! I am very much so on Pinterest! I have boards for fashion, beauty, weddings, pets and much more so follow me if you are obsessed with it as I am! I pretty  much update is every day.

Secondly, here are 3 more images from my magazine, Carousel! The top shot is from a shoot inspired by being a young girl who hides under her duvet, reading by torch-light! The accessories were lightly inspired by the ever present trend, polka dots and is name ‘There Once was a Girl’. The bottom left image is taken from a hair feature called ‘Strawberries & Cream’ and is based on summer hairstyles. The bottom right image is part of a fashion shoot inspired by the ‘Water Baby’ trend; lots of pale pinks, peaches and blues and sheer and iridescent fabrics. This story is called ‘Floating on a Sea Breeze’.

Last but not least I wanted to share with you some of my favourite blogs at the moment. There are a few that I really look forward to reading and maybe it will introduce you to some new inspiration! Just click on there button to go their blogs!

Wolf Whistle

Not only does Amy have amazing style,  but she’s also a lovely person too! What made me start following her was her edgy sense of style, she doesn’t dress to fit the nor and I love that. She has awesome hair too!

French for Cupcake

This girl is the most amazing cupcake maker EVER! I’m being serious when I say I tempted to visit her home town in Belfast just to order some from her! She has cute style too and wears adorable jewellery and pretty dresses.

Kansas Couture

I love Katy’s cute and colourful outfits. She has a way with clothes that I am very envious of, and her red hair tops it off!

Kingdom of Style

My emo-teenage-self adores Michelle’s outfits on this blog. She mixes ballerina chic with punky rock queen to create a style that I love. Her hair (which she has recently died a section of lilac) is amazing!

Kris Atomic

One talent that I wish I could own is to be able to draw and paint, and this girl can do both, amazingly! I love her characters that are bought to life with water colours. She has beautiful photography on her blog too.

She Loves Mixtapes

Looking through Dina’s blog is like walking into a time gone by. Her beautiful photos of her outfits and her surroundings are soft and whimsical and her eclectic sense of style is awesome.

A Cup of Jo

Since getting engaged, I have been falling in love with more ‘lifestyle’ blogs, filled with talk of houses, weddings and babies! I love hearing about other people’s lives and A Cup of Jo is just that! Not only does she share wedding photos, baby photos and more from her life,  but Joanna also write adorable articles about being a mum, wedding kisses and her love for back gardens.

Oh Joy!

This blog is wonderful in lots of ways. Food, fashion and babies – I mean, what more could you want?! She also seems to find the most amazing stationary too, I can’t resist!

Happy New Year

Happy new year everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families and loved ones and you all had a jolly new year! Here are a few photos from my time at home and an outfit post from a few days ago!

Wearing: ASOS dress, Topshop coat, gifted tights, New Look brogues, vintage scarf and gifted bag.

Coffee, trifle, nieces, engagement ring (!!), Candie with her new coat and Glenn’s cat, Maddie sleeping on my foot!

The fourth picture is clearly my favourite! Glenn proposed to me on Christmas morning! We were spending Christmas morning opening our presents at my parents house. We had just finished unwrapping the last of our gifts and Glenn told me I have one more present to open. He passed me a square jewellery box and as I opened it, he got down on one knee! Everyone started crying and I was shaking I could hardly take the ring out of the box. The ring is so beautiful, with an amethyst and two diamonds. It belonged to Glenn’s mum, and the stone is Glenn’s birthstone so it makes it all the more special! I’m sure some kind of wedding inspired posts will be coming up soon as I try to contain my excitement! We have already been researching venues!
